I have been teaching special education since 2013. During this time I taught preschool, elementary and middle school. I am excited to join the Buder team and return to the elementary classroom.

Hello! My name is Ms. Maddie and this will be my first year of teaching! I am very excited to learn and grow with my students. I received my Bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Special Education. This has always been something I've wanted to do since being a young girl.

What you can catch me doing outside of school is spending time with family and friends, going on adventures, and working out. I love to take my dog Leo on walks almost daily. My family and I go to Frankfort Michigan every year for vacation. I love spending time on the beach and swimming!

I am looking forward to working with students to achieve their own individual learning goals. Building a classroom family where everyone is accepted is very important to me. We are going to learn and grow so much this year at Buder Elementary!

Hello! My name is Ms. Jones and I am a Speech and Language Therapist. I have been teaching in Ritenour for 20 years, 13 of which have been spent right here at Buder Elementary! I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Southeast Missouri State University in Communication Disorders.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to paint, decorate, and explore nature. I am a huge fan of animals and have two dogs and two cats.  My favorite place to visit is South Carolina where you can find me sitting on the beach enjoying the ocean breeze!

I am very excited to start a new school year and look forward to working with my students and supporting their families. I believe every single child is special and I love helping them improve their overall communication skills!

Meagan Wade
Paraprofessional
wadem@ritenourschools.org

My name is Meagan Wade, and I am joining Buder Elementary School as a paraprofessional.  I recently completed my elementary Missouri Teacher Certification and Masters in Elementary Education and did my student teaching in the Ritenour School District.  I look forward to continuing to be a part of the Ritenour community.

In my spare time, I enjoy being active, and love to run, hike, and be outdoors with my family.  But I love my down time, too, reading, writing letters, and trying new recipes.  An interesting fact about me is that I lived all over the United States growing up, and even in Germany for 5 years.

Seeing children learn and grow brings me joy, and I am excited to support the students and staff at Buder in achieving goals and reaching their potential.
