Hello! My name is Kristyn Anderson. This is my 6th year as a classroom teacher and my 3rd year at Buder. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Truman State University, and my Master's in Elementary Education from Truman State University. 

I grew up in Iowa, but I fell in love with St. Louis and moved here shortly after college. My husband and I have two cats and a rescue dog. I love traveling around the world and learning new things- I've been to 11 countries but hope to keep adding more. I love reading on a rainy day, camping, raising Monarch caterpillars/butterflies, snuggling up with my animals on the couch, and watching movies. I'm so excited to meet my students and have a great year at Buder!

Cason McNeal

Greetings, my name is Mr. Cason McNeal. I have been working in education for the past two years as a substitute teacher. I've had the opportunity to work with students of all grade levels, from K-12. However, the majority of my work has taken place in the grade levels 3rd-5th. Recently, I graduated from the University of Missouri- St. Louis, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (1-6) with an emphasis in Special Education.  

For fun, I like to spend time with family/friends, read, listen to music, work out, and watch sports/TV shows. I am looking forward to teaching 5th grade this year at Buder!

Jessica Oehmke

Hello!  I am Jessica Oehmke, and this school year will be my 22nd year in education.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from UMSL in 2004, and my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from SIUE in 2013.  I am looking forward to a great year with the students and staff at Buder.  

I am married with two kids who are 18 and 15.  Aside from spending my time cheering for my kids and their activities, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and watching a great series.  During the fall, my Saturdays are spent in Columbia at Mizzou Football games.  During the summer, I’ll be sitting by the pool with a great book in my hands.
