Welcome! I am so glad you are here! My name is Mrs. Forste and this is my 11th year of teaching and my 8th year at Buder. I have taught a mix of first and second grade. I am married and have a 4 year old daughter named Carleigh, a newborn named Parker, and a dog named Maisy. In my free time, I love to cook, go on walks with my family and watch shows with my family. Fun fact: I am a huge Sci- Fi fan!
I believe that every child in my class deserves to learn and it is my job to help them reach their goals. This year we will become a family and I can’t wait to start working together with you!

Welcome to second grade! My name is Katie Hahn and I am so excited to get this year started. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois (I am a White Sox fan, don’t worry!) I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Culver-Stockton College and I am in the process of finishing my Master's Degree at UMSL. This will be my fifth year teaching in the Ritenour School District and I absolutely love being a second-grade teacher. In my free time, I love to hang out with my two dogs, Opie and Nelly, read thrilling books, and cook for my friends and family. I can't wait to embark on this journey with you all!

Welcome to second grade! My name is Kristina Mueller and this is my second year at Buder and being a part of the amazing Ritenour family! I stared my education journey in 2017 with the Arhdiocese and then was in Pattonville from 2018-2021. In 2022, I received my Masters in the Arts of Teaching from Fontbonne University. I have a background in theatre performance and production, so read alouds and spirit days are always a good time in Room 107! I cannot wait to get this year started with so many bright and talented little scholars.

Welcome to second grade! My name is Melanie Stumpe, I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Special Education at UMSL this past May, making this my first year as a teacher. I am thrilled to be a part of the Buder family! In my free time, I love to hang out with my dog, read, and enjoy the outdoors. My goal is to encourage a passion for learning in all of my students! Here's to an amazing school year!
